Ugandan female DJ and radio presenter Forever Etania Mutoni, widely known as Life of the Party, has advised upcoming female DJs to stay united, focus on their brands, and avoid unhealthy competition fueled by the internet.
In a Snapchat post, Etania encouraged the new female DJs not to fear entering the industry. She highlighted that the market is vast and has room for more talent.
Etania emphasized the importance of branding, saying it’s one of the most significant areas Ugandan DJs need to improve.
She acknowledged that she was a work in progress but expressed her hope for a future where Uganda produces superstar DJs and MCs recognized across the continent.

Etania Mutoni is on the roster of Uganda’s most loved female DJs, including Sheilah Gashumba, DJ Vee, DJ Lola, DJ Zato, and Lynda Ddane.
