A few days back, Cindy Sanyu officially resumed her duties as a dancehall artist after prolonged maternity leave.
She activated her work mode with a massive stage performance at Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday celebrations, followed by Comedy Store UG at UMA Lugogo on Wednesday.
With more gigs coming her way, the singer has been put on the spot following her most recent performance at Peter and Brenda’s wedding on Saturday.

On Saturday evening, Cindy Sanyu shared a short recap of the function in a one-minute video clip on her Instagram account, little did she know it would cause a stir among internet users.
Clad in a black “biker” and a coat, most of her fans were not impressed and found the outfit inappropriate for the wedding function.
She hence fell victim to a few of her fans’ ire on grounds that she wasn’t decently dressed as a wedding performer.
However, others defended her, pointing out that it was the couple’s request for the singer to turn up in such an outfit.
