Fast-rising musician Fik Gaza has taken a closer step in fulfilling his lifelong dream by unveiling the yet-to-be-completed house that he is yet to gift to his mother; as a sign of his dedication, hard work, and rising music career.
Fik Gaza, real name Shafiq Dangote has not had it all on a silver platter. He attained his breakthrough song ‘Banana’ which marked the beginning of his journey to save money.
He has since released several hit songs and gathered a sizable number of loyal fanbases, making him one of the most sought-after rising stars in the country, something that has fueled his success.
After securing numerous bookings and saving money, he decided not to be wasteful but instead save every penny from every performance to build his mother a house.
While giving journalists a tour of the unfinished building, Fik Gaza revealed that he had a dream of creating a better environment and providing a comfortable life for his mother, and among the first things he loved to do was get her out of a rented house. He has achieved this through hard work and perseverance.
Located in Gayaza, the outskirts of the city, the unfinished house symbolizes a kept promise and he revealed he will be constructing his house next after its completion.
I remember I started around 2022/2023 when Banana became a hit song and when I released more songs, my fans kept supporting me. I got bookings here and there and I was able to come up with some money. That is when I started building the house because my dream was to not leave my mother in a rental house for a long time, Fik Gaza revealed.
