Social media is reacting to a video of Frank Gashumba and Mutoni Malaika Patience’s first public appearance as husband and wife.
On Saturday, the trending couple showed up at Kampala Serena Hotel for Rwanda’s singer, The Ben’s concert, mesmerizing revelers. Frank Gashumba, who officiated his marriage with Mutoni in their ‘Gusaba’ ceremony in Sembabule, appeared unbothered by her presence as they entered the Serena hall.
In the clip shared by this website, Gashumba, dressed casually in jeans, walks unbothered, leaving Mutoni behind. Mutoni struggles to keep up with his pace and only catches up because her husband stops to greet his friends.
Netizens couldn’t stop criticizing the couple’s lack of PDA, as they expected them to hold hands at least while walking down the hallway.
Many thought Mutoni, who was visibly tense, needed support from her husband as she walked in front of the cameras.

Others, however, attributed Gashumba’s nonchalant attitude towards his wife to the fact that he had been single for a long time and was adjusting to the new lifestyle.
