Grenade Released On Court Bond Following His Arrest

Earlier this week, singer Deus Ndugwa aka Grenade was arrested around Munyonyo after weeks of hiding.

Grenade’s arrest came after his ex-girlfriend filed a ‘Criminal Trespass and Threatening violence’ case at Kajjansi Police station.

The singer was required to appear before Kajjansi Police and record a statement regarding the cases filed against him.

However, Grenade turned a deaf ear, hence the long arm of the Police enforcing its authorities and he was seized around Munyonyo on Tuesday.

The Nkuloga star appeared before the Kajjansi Chief Magistrates court on 1st June 2022 where he pleaded not guilty for all the cases slapped against him.

He was released on court bail and warned against committing the same offenses that saw him lock up. The court is expected to resume on 29th June 2022 for the second court hearing.
