Singer Hanson Baliruno and Halima Namakula are being accused of disappearing in thin air with Mubende-based promoter’s money worth 7 million.
The accuser is identified as Eddies K Promotion, who contends that Hanson Baliruno and Halima Namakula pocketed his money collected during the Ntuusi show.
He adds that the two connived, tricking his employee who had the money that they were steering to Kampala reasoning they had no money to spend a night in the region.
They asked him to get out of the car, before sprinting to a nearby destination within Mubende contrary to their earlier statement.
Addressing the allegations, Hanson Baliruno disclosed that he was the one behind the show, and footed all the necessary bills.

He adds that Eddies K Promotion was on the ground to smooth run the event as per their initial agreement.
The Kapyata singer says the money collected was not close to the 7 million as the promoter alleges and he used that to pay the artists who performed at the flopped show.
However, the promoter has urged the singer to cough his money because none of them is worth the payment of 2 million.
He swore to do everything possible to see Halima Namakula and her counterpart pay his money.
