Veteran musician Halima Namakula has officially confirmed the date and venue for her highly anticipated upcoming concert.
A few months back, rumours hinted at Halima’s plan to celebrate her decades-long career with a concert, stirring excitement among her loyal fan base.
During a Serena Hotel press conference, she confirmed the concert before reflecting on her musical journey and success.
She revealed that her breakthrough hit, “Ekimbeewo,” was created abroad, marking her rise as an African American artist.
Since then, Halima Namakula has released major songs like Sambagala, Kibuga, Amba, and Kibaduguda, solidifying her place in the Ugandan music industry.

Scheduled for July 26, 2025, she chose the date to include diaspora fans enjoying the summer holidays. The concert will be held at Kampala Serena Hotel, her fifth event since its days as the Nile Hotel International.
She emphasized that performing at Serena holds meaning, as she was among the first Ugandan artists to grace its stage.
Halima’s concert celebrates 50 and 25 years in the creative arts and philanthropy ventures, respectively. Tickets are UGX 150K VIP and UGX 3M per table. She promises a thrilling show with classic and new hits, urging fans to attend and honor her inspiring journey.
