Halima Namakula and Omukunja Atasera have reconciled, ending their longstanding financial disagreements.
The reunion happened yesterday with both artists, Halima Namakula and Omukunja Atasera, singing and exchanging pleasantries.
When Omukunja came out and claimed Halimah had stolen his money, a number of her fans from different social media platforms volunteered and collected money. They said that they would pay him back to stop embarrassing their idol.
During their reunion, Halima Namakula thanked everyone who stepped up during the fundraising. She said it saved her from rumors that were targeting her reputation.
In 2024, Omukunja revealed that Halima Namakula and Hanson Baliruno connived and mismanaged 2022 established Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) SACCO funds.

Halima Namakula explained that she did not involve herself in the UMA SACCO funds. She added that Omukunja’s claims were not true.
Omukunja’s financial claims saw him bitterly fall out with Halima Namakula. They have not been seeing eye to eye since until yesterday.
