Musician Hajji Haruna Mubiru has expressed his joy and excitement after his young talented son, Ramathan Mubiru was among the young talents that were selected to receive education funding from the Parliamentary Commission.
Ramathan Mubiru, a promising motorsport star has just finished his Primary Leaving Examination and will have his school fees catered for up to senior six completion.
The initiative was spearheaded by the speaker of Parliament Hon. Anitah Among, citing the importance of not only nurturing young talents but also ensuring that they have access to proper and quality education. This also encourages the development of Motorsport in the country.
Ramathan captured people’s attention for his impressive performances in different competitions. He has participated in races in different countries like Morocco, Kenya, South Africa, Zambia, and many in Uganda.
The government’s decision to support his education will ease financial pressure on his parents and also see to it that he has a stable foundation of education.
