Politician, Lawyer, human rights activist, and motivational speaker Hon. Mukasa Mbidde was yesterday introduced by his partner to her parents.
Towards the end of 2019, Mukasa Mbidde and his lover Fiona held a Gusaba ceremony, an event where the family of the groom-to-be officially requests a girl as a bride.
Three years later, the pair made another tremendous step in their relationship, when Fiona introduced Mbidde to her parents yesterday.
At the function, Mbidde and Fiona were escorted by an entourage consisting of family and close friends from all spheres of life.
It is here that Hon. Mbidde delivered to Fiona’s parents the required bride price before they bestowed them with blessings ahead of their marriage.

It should be remembered that initially, Mukasa Mbidde was married to Bukomansimbi Woman Member of Parliament Susan Namaganda, who unfortunately succumbed on 11th December 2015.
