Media Personality Canary Mugume’s wife Sasha Ferguson real name Fiona Nagirinya has revealed how she was scammed over Ugx 1m online.
Over the years, social media users have fallen victim to the skyrocketing vice of being scammed by unidentified people behind social media handles on different platforms.
The most recent prey to this vice is the mother of one Sasha Ferguson, who lost her hard-earned Ugx 1M.
While appearing in a video accessed by Exclusive Bizz, Sasha Ferguson reveals that on heroes day 09th June 2023, she crossed paths with an Instagram account dubbed Prime Stores Uganda which promoted nice office furnishings.
She showed her mother, closest friend, and husband Canary the products via her phone, all of whom punched holes in the deals citing the product prices were too low to be genuine.
Despite the warning, Sasha Ferguson made contact with the online dealers and placed an order for her office furniture.
The scammers who claimed to be located at the airport’s cargo terminal, convinced Sasha to pay in advance before the items could be delivered, which she accepted.

However, when she transferred UGX 1 million to their account, the fraudsters went mute and haven’t returned her calls or messages as of yet.
