According to singer Cindy Sanyu, she is ready to pay music producer Washington the profits from the songs he created for her.
David Washington Ebangit, a well-known music producer, demanded royalties for the songs he created for different artists in the music industry a few weeks ago.
Washington stressed that he would have constructed a studio that would have generated greater sounds if he wasn’t deprived of his royalties for 20 years.
The producer went on to refute assertions that suggested that he had run bankrupt and resorted to bargaining for scraps.
He insisted that he was not indigent as claimed by critics, but rather battling for what was rightfully his.
During the just concluded NyegeNyege festival, Cindy Sanyu during an interview with Galaxy TV was tasked to remark on Washington’s claims.
The self-declared King herself revealed that she has no issue with Washington wanting his share, noting that she would be the happiest if his objective is accomplished.

Cindy Sanyu admitted that Washington is one of the people who started her career and that she is prepared to sign the split sheet so that they automatically receive their portion of the proceeds from their crafts.
Furthermore, Cindy Sanyu stressed that Washington is one of the best producers Uganda and the East African region have ever had and deserves his piece of the cake for he did a great job.
