Ann Kansiime’s sister Nyonyozi Shine Angella famously known as Shine Omukiga has revealed that she experienced over 19 miscarriages before welcoming her son.
While sharing her life story with Faridah Nakazibwe at the NTV Mwasuze Mutya show, Shine Omukiga made it known that she got pregnant at 20 years.
She convinced her man to meet her parents and good enough he honoured the request, and he was welcomed by her parents even without dowry.
On the day of delivery, she pushed her baby only to be notified by the doctors that it was a stillbirth. They departed for the funeral after her sister-in-law placed the infant in her bag.
Her subsequent miscarriages led her to believe that not everyone was rooting for her to succeed.
Surprisingly, after their mother became ill, they began to hear positive news when Ann Kansiime, who was going through similar difficulties, welcomed her baby.
Later, she too became pregnant, but she chose to keep the joyful news inside their family just in case.
The renowned former Western Uganda radio presenter welcomed her first child in July 2022, whom she named “Aine Christopher Junior”.
Shine expressed her gratitude to God for blessing her with a kid and said she resigned from her job to devote herself totally to being a mother.
She maintained that she is not ready to have another baby, her baby daddy is free to sire other kids elsewhere.
