Over the weekend, Nigerian sensational singer Simi real name Simisola Ogunleye jetted into the country to perform at the just concluded The Best of Kampala event.
She expressed her excitement about performing in Uganda for the first time, and eagerness to connect with her fans.
Simi went on to share her thoughts on the Ugandan music industry and her expectations for the event.
She praised the Ugandan music industry for its diversity and unique sound, stating that she was looking forward to experiencing it firsthand.
The mother of one also mentioned that she had been following the music of Eddy Kenzo, Joshua Baraka, and Cindy Sanyu and was impressed by their talent and creativity.
