On 6th May 2023, Ugandans were gutted by the untimely death of social media blogger, music and political analyst Isma Olaxes.
Isma was shot dead at around 9:20 PM near his home in Kyanja Central Zone by a yet-to-be-identified assailant.
He was travelling back home in his vehicle registration number UBK 213 D, with his driver known as Waswa Mathias.
The Police statement revealed that the attacker opened fire on the car while brandishing an SMG, instantly killing Isma, who was in the passenger seat, on the spot.
The Uganda police reacted immediately at the crime scene, and Isma’s body was transported to the hospital for a postmortem report as investigations into the matter escalates.
As a Muslim, Isma will be buried at his family graveyard in Mukono Nkokonjeru on May 7, 2023, as soon as the postmortem report is completed.

Isma Olaxes didn’t leave behind any child, due to his inability to make a woman pregnant.
