Jackie Chandiru vows to remain single until her ex-husband’s passing, honoring their wedding vows

Blu*3 member, Jackie Chandiru has vowed never to remarry as long as her ex-husband Nol Van Vliet is still alive in honor of the vows they said before the church on their wedding day.

Jackie Chandiru was married to a wealthy Dutch businessman, Nol Van Vliet who was believed to be about 70 years old at that time.

The couple walked down the aisle in 2015 and being a staunch catholic person, Jackie revealed that when she got married, she promised her ex-husband forever and she is not ready to break the vows she respects the most by getting married to someone new before he passes on.

At one point I walked down the aisle and promised someone ‘till death do us apart’. Until that person (God forbid) has been called by the Lord, I will not stand in front of the Almighty and say that vow again, she said.

Nol Van filed for divorce in 2017 due to her drug addiction problem which was not only affecting her reputation but also his business. Even when she is single, Jackie Chandiru says she will not be getting married any time soon.

As for now, do not expect a wedding because I take vows seriously. I cannot go before God and take someone new before him even when I’m divorced and no longer with that person. I have to wait until something (death) happens to that person, he said.

Jackie Chandiru revealed that her decision is out of respect for their vows, however, Nol Van is free to do whatever he wants with his love life as she does not dictate anything in his life.

In 2020 shortly after leaving rehabilitation, Jackie Chandiru was in a better mental state and while giving her followers an update, she posted an engagement ring, sparking off news that she was back with her estranged husband and the couple was looking at reigniting their romance despite the divorce.

In a bitter statement, Jackie cleared the air stating that the rumor was just fake news started by bloggers and it could have easily destroyed her ex-husband’s marriage. She claimed that Nol Van completely had nothing to do with her current life.
