The Jameson Hangout, a quarterly festival organized by Talent Africa Group, took place at the Ndeere Center in Ntinda on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.
The event featured a variety of interactive games, innovative pop-up shops that enlivened the venue, captivating musical acts, delectable barbecue offerings, complimentary haircuts, free Jameson cocktails, and discounted tattoos paired with premium Irish whiskey.
The event was headlined by the acclaimed Ugandan artist Irene Ntale and Beenie Gunter, alongside Nigeria’s Alternate Sound. Gates opened at 4 PM, with DJ Tony setting the tone for the evening through an energetic mix, followed by performances from Shawn Mane, Denesi, Professor Joewi, and The Black Wave Sounds.
At 10 PM, Irene Ntale, accompanied by The Black Wave Sounds, took the stage, performing popular tracks such as “Ssembera” and “Stay with Me,” which had the audience singing along enthusiastically.
Following her performance, Naselow Da Don and Beenie Gunter energized the crowd, celebrating life with those who matter most. The show concluded with a performance by Alternate Sound from Nigeria, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating the next Jameson Hangout.
