John Vegas claims Henry Mwanje swindled him, and reneged on their collaboration agreement

Rising musician John Vegas has outed singer Henry Mwanje for allegedly swindling him of his money and refusing to give him a collaboration as agreed.

Speaking to the media, the upcoming artist revealed that he contacted Henry Mwanje because of his amazing talent and proposed a collaboration with hopes that it would push his budding career to the next level. They allegedly agreed that he would pay UGX 2 million for the collaboration.

According to John Vegas, he paid the first installment of UGX 1M to Mwanje in August, and as soon as he received it, he stopped picking up his calls and responding to his messages.

Despite John Vegas’ repeated attempts to get through to him, Mwanje remained unresponsive and only picked up once, blasting him for putting him under too much pressure.

John Vegas convinced his manager only known as Kikankane who is also friends with Mwanje. Unfortunately, he still did not respond, something that frustrated him.

This prompted him to approach the media and expose Mwanje’s actions. He is currently demanding either Mwanje fulfill his promise of the collaboration or refund his money.

He promised me that we would be hitting the studio after two weeks to record our collaboration but after giving him the money, he stopped picking up my calls. The only time we spoke on the phone after that, he was telling me to stop rushing him because he was aware of our deal but needed time.

Henry Mwanje looks to be a responsible person, never had I thought that he would even ignore my calls. I decided to expose him here because I’m not rich and I’m struggling to make this money. I respect him and there’s nothing I can do about it because these big artists are all the same when it comes to such issues. That is how they behave. I’m pleading with the journalists to help me beg him to refund my money or give me my collabo,” John Vegas narrated.

When Henry Mwanje was contacted, he agreed to have received the money but he says he spent it all on paying for the studio that they were to use.
