Jose Chameleone’s just-concluded Legend in Gold concert held over the weekend was filled with several watershed highlights.
Held at Kampala Serena Hotel, Chameleone celebrated 25 years of his music career with several fellow musicians and fans.
Several highlights left revelers in awe, but what caught our attention was Chameleone’s recognition of his longtime friend Bebe Cool.
Midway through the concert, Jose Chameleone honored several individuals who contributed to his successful career, including his mother, King Micheal, Bebe Cool, and his brothers Weasel Manizo, and Pallaso among others.
As Jose Chameleone presented the award, he could not stop praising Bebe Cool for his unending support through the difficult times of his life.
But to Chameleone’s surprise, Bebe Cool returned the favor, as he stepped up on stage holding an award to present to the man of the night. He honored the Leone Island boss’ resilience and dedication to his craft, despite the challenges he has faced in the country.
Immediately after exchanging the accolades, Jose Chameleone had an early birthday surprise for Bebe Cool who marked his 47th birthday on 1st September.
Singing the birthday song, Jose Chameleone wheeled on stage a three-tier cake for his friend to cut as he celebrated his new year.
Bebe Cool subsequently shared the cake with a section of the VIP revelers much to their delight for the Gagamel boss’ kind gesture.
