Eddy Kenzo, Jose Chameleone

Jose Chameleone calls out Eddy Kenzo’s UNMF for ignoring his return after battle with illness

Over the weekend, Jose Chameleone returned to the country from the USA after months of health challenges and was welcomed like a hero from the airport to his home.

Despite his initial revelation that he needed to rest before resuming his musical ambitions, he made a couple of appearances, including one at Noni Vie. During his performance, Jose Chameleone boldly expressed his disappointment towards artists, especially those under UNMF, for not welcoming him back.

Chameleone claimed he was one of the people that started up the Federation and believed he was a very important figure. He was, however, frustrated when none of the artists from the cabinet showed up and did not even send a representative.

When I left this country as a top artist, everyone prayed for my safe return, considering the situation I left in. Thank God I came back.

It was so shameful that they did not welcome me back as their friend and fellow artist. I was so hurt because they did not send any messenger even when they say we are together in music,” Jose Chameleone told revelers.

He further sent a special message to the Federation President Eddy Kenzo and his cabinet, reminding them that it was their job to appreciate artists before their fans did so.

I do not want to be respected but we should be human. They are supposed to see the importance of artists but they showed their bad manners. I’m so hurt by what happened. I love the federation, but they should change their ways and stop treating other artists like us who fought for the industry,” Jose Chameleone revealed.

In December, Jose Chameleone was flown abroad by the government and Juliet Zawedde for further medical assistance after he was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.
