Ugandan musician Joshua Baraka has spoken out on the harsh comments regarding his appearance, specifically his body size.
In an interview with Spark TV, Joshua Baraka responded to questions regarding his weight, noting that he is considering working on it.
“Just give me a little time. I’m working on it and I will cut down the weight,” he responded in an unbothered manner.
The criticism about Joshua Baraka’s weight recently intensified after his photo while at the Trace Awards went viral. While on the red carpet, he made an appearance in a supersized shiny leather jumpsuit, and while others applauded him for his confidence, social media users flooded the comment section with trolls.
In his defence, however, Joshua praised his style of the night, noting that it was the picture angles that did not come out well.

“I do not have anything to do with the negative comments. In real life, the outfit was amazing; it’s just that the pictures didn’t do it justice,” he said.
