Fik Gaza, Kalifah Aganaga

Fik Gaza criticizes Kalifah Aganaga’s efforts in the parliamentary race, claiming it’s a waste of time

Singer Fik Gaza has dismissed the efforts put up by fellow artist Kalifah Aganaga to contest for the Kawempe North Parliamentary seat, citing his inability to handle a political office.

Aganaga was on Wednesday unveiled as the candidate to possibly replace the late Hon. Mohamed Ssegirinya in parliament. The singer picked his membership card as the official flag bearer in the forthcoming by-elections.

According to Fik Gaza, Aganaga has no chance of winning the highly sought-after office because he is not the best fit due to his talkative nature and the chaos he is involved in.

He also believes that Aganaga doesn’t have any connection with the area people and there was no way they would vote for someone they do not know on a personal level.

Fik Gaza, therefore, believes that Aganaga’s nomination is just a waste of time and he should quit before he loses the election.

“Kalifah cannot handle that position. He is very talkative with so much propaganda. He doesn’t belong here and no one in Kawempe even knows him. I advise him to step out of the race and give up. Personally, I can never vote for him because I know he cannot perform. He needs to work so hard because no one knows him. People in my area people are so tough; he needs to come down to the ghetto and mingle with them.

He has overestimated himself and I know he can never win. He needs us to win and he doesn’t have our support,” Fik Gaza said.
