Karole Kasita has explained that she attended and performed at Sheebah Karungi’s show because she was contacted to do so, not because they are friends.
Sheebah Karungi recently had her sold out ‘Neyanziza’ concert and among the artists that came through as supporting acts at Lugogo Cricket Oval was Karole Kasita, who is a very good friend to her nemesis Spice Diana.
The ‘Yaka’ hitmaker has been vocal and open about how close she is with Spice Diana and the pair recently collaborated on ‘Mutabai Wo’ and because of their friendship, netizens thought Karole Kasita would not show face at Sheebah’s concert.
She however shocked everyone when she stepped on stage and even had some words of encouragement for Sheebah during her pregnancy.
She says she did not do this because there is a friendship between them, but because she received an invitation to perform since they all influence Victoria University. To her, it was mainly business and less of a connection.
Karole Kasita maintains that she is closer to Spice Diana who she terms as her ‘real and actual’ friend more than Sheebah.

Sheebah is not so much of a friend like Spice Diana, who is my real friend. Sheebah is not even that close to me but I respect her a lot and when they called me and told me to pass by (at the concert), I had to show up because it is strictly business.
She is not my friend but I do not have any problem with her. Spice is actually my friend. Here it was just business, being there for a fellow lady, a fellow female artist and a fellow mother, Karole Kasita noted.
