KFM’s Faiza Salima alias Faiza Fabz, Olupot Benard Ewalu, Kanzira Thomas, and other anti-corruption activists have been granted bail by the Nakawa Chief Magistrates Court.
On 23rd July 2024, Faiza Fabz and other prominent tweeps were arrested, and detained before being remanded to Luzira Prison for indulging in the #March2Parliament anti-corruption protests.
Earlier today, the group was arraigned before the Nakawa Chief Magistrates Court for their bail applications.
The bail applications were presented by their respective lawyers in an effort to secure the arrested people’s freedom.
The court session was graced by numerous personalities to demonstrate their support for the arrested activists.

Fortunately, the Nakawa Chief Magistrates Court granted Faiza Fabz, Beewol, Thomas, and Edgar bail, while, Aljab Musinguzi was denied bail.
