Through his lawyers Lukwago & Co. Advocates, King Saha has vowed not to participate in the impending UMA presidential debate on 21st May 2022, failure of the association to streamline and handle the election process transparently.
Saha’s complaint comes after UMA declared voting for the respective association leaders to be conducted online, among other proceedings that the singer and his lawyers believe are not steered transparently.
According to the papers making rounds on social media, Saha’s lawyers note that UMA electoral commission has failed to avail the voter’s register to all candidates, something they believe might sabotage the smooth running of the process.

The singer and his lawyers further protest that UMA having pledged to conduct elections online, it has not yet equipped voters with knowledge regarding the online voting process.
It is for the reasons above that Saha’s lawyers urged UMA to halt the online voting plans and streamline the whole process to ensure a free and fair election.
