Despite Ugandan musicians painting the internet with Alex Ndawula’s photos and condolence messages upon learning about the sad news of his passing on, these didn’t bother to attend his sending-off.
On 6th June 2022, one of Uganda’s legendary radio personalities Alexander Ndawula breathed his last at Nsambya Hospital.
The late’s remains were aligned at Capital Fm gardens on 8th July, where a public vigil and memorial mass was conducted.
Alex Ndawula’s body was later on Sunday, July 10th laid to his final resting place at Kyamaganda Village, Lwengo District.

However, Ndawula’s close friends, relatives, and fans were shocked, on realizing that no Ugandan artist had graced any of the former’s funeral rituals, despite contributing greatly to their music careers.
