On 20th June 2022, the country’s longest-lasting musical group Afrigo Band thrilled party-goers at Levels lounge’s weekly Stress Clinic.
However, one of the band members Joanita Kawalya’s enjoyment was cut short upon realizing that her phone was missing from where she had placed it.
To avoid the circumstances that come with losing a phone to pickpocketers, the legendary singer took to her socials, alerting her friends and family about what had happened.
In a precise post, Joanita Kawalya clarified that she is well, but rubbed the wrong way after losing her phone after her performance.
She further notified her friends to stay vigilant, as the impersonator may try to extort money from them in the guise of the singer being sick or having any trouble.

Joanita Kawalya maintained that she working down the clock to restore her lines, and vowed to communicate any progress through her social media platforms, availing a provisional number she is currently using.
Dear family and friends I would like to clarify that I am well however tonight after our performance at LEVELS my phone was stolen(robbed) and the impersonator may or has already called you stating that I need money from you please don’t send money to that person.
