Gospel Act Levixone, real name Lucas Lubyogo has revealed that he is ready to take the next step in his life by getting married. In a recent interview, the talented gospel guru opened up on his desire to finally settle down and start a family because he feels the time is just right.
“The truth is I have grown. For a 34-year-old, I’m mature enough so I thought that it was time to put up a prayer request and have people pray for me (to get married). Plus, the ones supporting me financially to do so because a wedding is not easy to hold. Why would I not get married? Everyone wants to get married. Now is the right time and the years are just right,” he said.
Levixone’s revelations come after he was asked about the social media post he made on his Facebook page about his desire to marry. Desire Luzinda who gave her life to Christ replied to the post, saying she was praying for the man of God. The back-and-forth conversation between the two obviously raised eyebrows with people concluding that they were secretly planning their wedding.
“I have never invited you guys to my wedding. I’m eagerly waiting for all of you to see me and my woman looking glorious and holding each other. Everyone is praying for me because I deserve to be prayed for,” Levixone revealed, strongly denying the allegations that there was something going on with Desire.
Levixone further listed the qualities that he wanted his woman to possess; highlighting his preference for a woman who is God-fearing and loving towards everyone.
“A woman who fears the Lord and accepts him as her personal Lord and Savior, a woman who loves people, doesn’t discriminate, the one who can stand with me in my ministry of serving God because this is my dream,” he concluded.
The dating rumor was fueled by photos that flooded social media in mid-2022, showing Desire Luzinda and Levixone in a Kwanjula setting. Rumors started spreading that the pair who had allegedly been dating for quite some time had decided to legalize their relationship with the secret function. What made it seemingly believable was the fact that Ray G who had appointed Levixone as his best man in his wedding was featured in the videos.
Although it later turned out to be a music video of ‘Yoya’ ft. Ray G, netizens still believe it was real despite them spinning it around into a song. Levixone maintains his stand that he has never introduced anyone.
