Lil Pazo Lunabe Survives a Robbery Attempt After His Performance

Lil Pazo Lunabe narrowly escaped a robbery attempt by a gang of boys that attacked him after his performance at the Zzina Fest hosted by Galaxy Media over the weekend at Aero Beach.

While narrating his ordeal in a telephone interview with Kasuku Live, Lil Pazo Lunabe, real name Yasin Mukasa revealed that the incident happened immediately after he had got off the stage when this gang surrounded him and tried to snatch his phone. Luckily his security detail who were fully armed intervened, fighting off the attackers.

Lil Pazo Lunabe credited his bodyguard for staying calm and composed during the scuffle, despite sustaining a scratch injury in the face. He revealed that the bodyguard could have easily used it on them, but instead chose to calm the situation down.

The ‘Enkudi’ hitmaker believes that the attackers were driven by the desire to gain fame. He revealed that he knew the particular group of people involved in the saga and suspects that they are upcoming musicians seeking to gain attention by targeting celebrities and creating videos to post on their social media accounts.

I was with my security. You have to be careful everywhere you go. I trust my security, especially in a place with many people.

They fought my bodyguards and I’m very grateful that they kept their cool and never fought back. I told him to ignore it because the impact would have been bigger.

There are some young men who hide while doing music yet they are street thugs. They love targeting celebrities because they know the videos will go viral in this social media era. They think they will be known. We know these games.” Lil Pazo Lunabe said.
