Musician Lilian Mbabazi has denied allegations of drug abuse, as speculated by different social media critics.
The media has, over the years, been accusing the Blu*3 member of doing drugs and drowning in alcohol as part of her lifestyle. Having been a close aide to Jackie Chandiru, who had long suffered from drug abuse problems, many concluded that she was also a victim.
In an interview, the Dagala hitmaker strongly dismissed the allegations of abusing drugs. She, however, confessed to drinking a little alcohol but always protected herself from narcotics.
“I have never done drugs before. I will drink a little alcohol, but I have never tried drugs,” Lilian confessed.
A number of musicians and celebrities are often influenced by a number of factors that push them into depression and end up doing drugs as a coping mechanism. Among them are media criticism, not having a hit song, and the desire to maintain social status, among others.

Lilian has, however, denied the allegations, revealing that she has learned how to deal with pressure from within and outside. She encourages fellow artists to develop a strong backbone if they are to survive in the dynamic industry.

“Not even the media can do that because they make money off us so we have to allow them. Just like anybody else we are human and when anybody says something, it is very hurtful but there is nothing you can do. You have to be with a strong backbone to be in this industry; it comes with the territory of being in the industry,” Lilian Mbabazi revealed.
