The highest female-ranking officer in the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Lt. Gen. Proscovia Nalweyiso has warned singer Alien Skin against wearing army uniforms.
According to Lt. Gen. Proscovia Nalweyiso, she is against the growing vice of Alien Skin wearing army attires, urging him to join the army or obtain a document that instructs him to use them.
She further explained that the singer should be supported without wearing army attire or being followed by the violent gangs that rob and fight with citizens.
Lt. Gen. Proscovia Nalweyiso went on to urge all musicians to stop moving with crowds that they can’t control.
She made it clear that she will address the issue with concerned authorities, and if it fails she will indulge to see that action is taken.

Gen. Nalweyiso made it clear that in Uganda every citizen is subjected to the law, and is obliged to adhere to the regulations set forth.
