On 08th October 2024, comedy duo Madrat and Chiko held their successful Nseko Buseko season five edition at Sheraton Garden in Kampala.
The event was lively with laughter, music, and celebration as, Madrat and Chiko born Dickson Lubega and Frank Mubiru respectively, marked their 10th anniversary.
Hosted by Uncle Mo and Uncle Mark, the evening featured unforgettable performances from some of Uganda’s most beloved artists including Mesach Semakula who captivated the crowd with his soulful music. Lydia Jazmine delivered an electrifying performance that had everyone on their feet while Dr. Bbosa brought his signature voice and energy.
Comedians Omala Daniel, Talkers, and Tumbeetu kept guests laughing while Victoria University Dancers, Shebby Music, DJ Tony, and DJ Nimrod, created a vibrant atmosphere.
The presence of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament and notable figures like Hon. Nyamutoro and Hon. Nsereko among others highlighted the significance of the event.
As always, Madrat and Chiko added their trademark satire to the event, providing a humorous commentary on current events and societal issues. Their comedic genius not only entertained but also sparked conversations among attendees, making the night both enjoyable, thought-provoking, and a true revelation of the huge impact they have had on comedy and the entertainment industry at large.
