Local Kadongo Kamu singer Sir Mathias Walukagga has been dragged to court over failure to pay a debt worth UGX 23M.
According to Mubiru Hassan, Mathias Walukagga borrowed the above-mentioned sum of money to stage a streak of shows in 2019.
The pair put pen to paper, and Mathias Walukagga was obliged to pay back the money at the time that was agreed upon.
However, the singer failed to honor the agreement, compelling Mubiru Hassan to seek justice from the authorities.
In a bid to see that Walukagga clears his debt, the two jotted another agreement, and the singer agreed to pay UGX 2M per week.
Walukagga paid cash upfront UGX 1M, and since then he has been playing hide and seek.
