Following Tororo woman MP Hon. Sarah Achieng Opendi’s submission on the house floor that secular musicians should be banned from school performances, singer Sheebah Karungi has responded to her divulgence.
Being one of the artists with a bigger fan base in schools, Sheebah has come public and lashed out at critics pinning her for misguiding kids in schools.
In an interview with Sanyuka TV, Sheebah questioned whether musicians are behind the immoral behaviours being portrayed in the circulating videos.
Sheebah urged parents to impart morals they find pleasing in their kids, instead of playing the blame game.
The singer went on to note that she is just an artist who performs for their kids, and she can’t influence them more than their parents who spend the biggest time with them.
The former Team No Sleep singer further stressed that parents should advise their kids to pick only the good deeds of their respective artists, and shelve what may seem unconstructive.
