Veteran musician, Catherine Kusasira was left in awe after she received a sum of Ugx. 30 million from president Museveni during her just concluded concert held at Sheraton Hotel.
The show that took place yesterday, attracted a massive crowd that came through to enjoy the classic hits from a number of artists from the past, including those who were off the scene.
Catherine Kusasira had initially told her fans during her pre-show media rounds the president was the guest of honor on her big day. He, however, was unable to attend and instead sent the Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Hon. Balaam Barugahara to represent him.
Hon. Balaam delivered a message written in a personalized letter from the president who congratulated Catherine on her successful concert and thanked fans for coming through to support her.

He handed her an envelope with the money as a token of appreciation from H. E Museveni amidst cheers from the revelers.
Catherine Kusasira is one of the few musicians who have had a chance to interact with the Fountain of Honor because of their close friendship.
