In 2022, Kama Ivien Management Company LTD boss Ivan Lubega dragged Pallaso to court over breach of contract.
Kama Ivan’s decision came following Pallaso’s alleged failure to honor the clauses in their work agreement that was signed in August 2019.
Kama Ivan claimed that the self-proclaimed King of the East illegally deprived him of his duties as the manager contrary to their agreement and efforts to resolve their misunderstandings bore no fruit.
Following Pallaso’s failure to adhere, Kama Ivan through his lawyers M/s Ochieng Associated Advocates sought legal intervention to solve the matter in the courts of law.
Kama Ivan wanted the singer to provide an account of all proceeds attained from shows and performances that were made without his knowledge and pay all sums found due and interest thereon for all shows booked and performed without his consent.
However, after over a year of the case hearing, it was revealed that Kama Ivien Management Company was not a legal entity at the time of signing the agreement with the Pallaso, hence having no capacity to enter into the contract consequently.
