Parliament Of Uganda Rewards Faridah Nakazibwe for Her Efforts Towards Women’s Empowerment

Media personality, Faridah Nakazibwe is on cloud nine after being recognized by the Ugandan Parliament for her contributions to women’s empowerment in the media.

Nakazibwe is one of the female media personalities that have over the years portrayed selflessness towards their duties.

With her show Mwasuze Mutya, which airs on Nation Media’s NTV Uganda and Spark TV, she has offered a voice to women both within and outside the media fraternity in the country.

Her show guests open up about their life experiences and challenges throughout this segment, and viable empowerment solutions are presented.

Nakazibwe has been a great pillar in the media fraternity, and she has lived upto the expectations of those looking upto her.

Besides her television responsibilities, the Luganda news anchor and host has helped the less fortunate on numerous occasions with her philanthropic endeavors.

It is hardly surprising that the Parliament recognized the mother of two’s efforts to effect social change, particularly among women.

”Don’t give up on what you are passionate about. Someone out there is watching and at the right time, they will recognise you. Thank you Women in Parliament.” Faridah Nakazibwe wrote on her socials upon receiving her award.
