House Of Prayer lead pastor Aloysius Bugingo has expressed his pain and frustration over not being able to see his children from his previously failed marriage for a very long time.
The pastor made his confession during an emotional broadcast at his station, Salt FM when he revealed that he was deeply hurt after he was separated from his children since his breakup with ex-wife, Teddy Naluswa in 2019.
The estranged couple had sired four children including Gift Bujingo, Winnie Treasure Bujingo, Jenniffer Blessed, and Isaac Bujingo. For some time, the broken family has not been on good terms with Teddy and his children accusing the pastor of abandoning them and failing to take care of their needs and their father.
During the broadcast, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo rubbished the allegations saying he was well capable of taking care of his children but they had people feeding them with lies to keep them away from him.
“I’m not a criminal; I have never broken any laws but the enemy attacked me. I do not want to talk more about it because it will be so emotional but do you know what it means to spend so many years without seeing your children? What lies could they be feeding them all this time that they are keeping me away? Do I look like the one of the laziest people in this world that I cannot take care of my children?” Pastor Aloysius Bugingo stated.
Last year during one of his sermons, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo expressed his desire to reconcile with his children before his flock. He emphasized the importance of forgiveness, stating that it was a better path than holding onto grudges. Gift on the other hand accepted his father’s call for reconciliation, declaring that she held no ill feelings towards him despite their rocky past.

Pastor Aloysius Bugingo’s family conflicts dominated the news with the pastor openly declaring that he had filed for divorce from Teddy, whom he constantly accused of embarrassing him. In 2021, he moved in with Susan Makula and the lovebirds held their private introduction ceremony at Makula’s home in Entebbe, Kawuku.
