House of Prayer International Ministries’ lead pastor, Aloysius Bugingo, has spoken out about the mockery his new wife, Susan Makula, is facing over not having children.
Aloysius Bugingo and Susan Makula made the bold decision to take their relationship to the next level amidst criticism. In 2021, they had their official introduction ceremony at Susan Makula’s parents’ home, and they have been a target of social media trolls on why they have not had children yet.
Taking to the pulpit, Aloysius Bugingo expressed his dismay over the issue. He revealed that Susan was upset by the trolls who were labeling her as barren. Overwhelmed by the negativity, she received support from the pastor, who reassured her that they were content with their small family and that they would have children in the future whenever the time was right..
“I told her I was okay. There is a household with both children and a wife but without peace. I told her if having children will take away my happiness, then she should stay the way she is,” he said.
Aloysius Bugingo further ordered his flock to raise their hands and pray for his wife to have twins so that they end the mockery.

In addition, Pastor Bugingo expressed his sadness about the inability to see his children with Teddy. He said he has not seen his youngest son, who is 10 years old, for the past seven years.
“It hurts because I’m not a useless man, nor am I irresponsible. He is the only son I have but I have not set my eyes on him for the past seven years,” he said.
