On 3rd June 2022, gospel singer and church house lead pastor Wilson Bugembe held a sold-out concert dubbed “Katonda w’abanaku mw’eno ensonga” at hotel Africana.
The event was graced by believers and nonbelievers, among which was the top-notch leader of the traditional healers Sylvia Namutebi best known as Mama Phina, who made it rain on Pastor Wilson Bugembe.
All that transpired at the event seemingly didn’t settle well with Pastor Bugingo, who has never been one to bite his tongue especially when it comes to church affairs.
Taking to his church podium, Pastor Bugingo revealed that he was dismayed by Mama Phina’s attendance at a concert staged by a born-again Christian.
He went on to say that as if that was not enough, Bugembe bowed before the traditional healer, acting contrary to the bible teaching.

Pastor Bugingo further mentioned that they advertised the concert expecting it to be headlined by gospel musicians, little did they know the event was to be dominated by secular musicians and alcohol.
There was a concert in town staged by a born-again christian pastor but it was dominated by alcohol and nonbelievers. We advertised it thinking it was for only born agains, little did we know that secular musicians were to perform more than gospel artists.
God tells us to kneel before him, but a full pastor knelt before a traditional healer.
