Renowned traditional herbalist Maama Fiina real name Sylvia Namutebi has revealed that pastors Bugingo and Wilson Bugembe should preside over prayers at her funerals.
Earlier today late singer, actor and former Lubaga South Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama was laid to rest in Nkozi, Mawokota, Mpigi District.
Kato’s burial ceremony was attended by several dignitaries in different sectors, including the reigning leader of the traditional healers in Uganda Sylvia Namutebi.
It is here that Mama Fiina expressed her disappointment with the catholic church, over declining to hold a requiem mass for the late Kato Lubwama.
Mama Fiina revealed that despite his participation in traditional beliefs, Kato Lubwama believed in God and was deserving of the right to be prayed for
She continued by saying that participation in traditional African beliefs does not imply a person has abandoned their belief in a divine creator.
