Renowned Ugandan singer Tracy Kirabo, commonly known as Pia Pounds, has opened up about what drove her to quit alcohol.
Known for chart-topping hits like ‘Wakikuba’ and ‘Tupaate,’ Pia Pounds revealed that her former boss and mentor, Eddy Kenzo, inspired her decision to quit drinking.
Pia Pounds, who was previously under Big Talent, acknowledged that before joining the music label, she had the perception that artists engaged in drinking and smoking.
She assumed that drinking and smoking were the norm in the music industry and was ready to jump on the trend.

However, to her surprise, she discovered that the label’s founder, Eddy Kenzo, didn’t drink or smoke, and this played a role in her decision to abstain from alcohol.
