Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Onyango Patrick has confirmed that Hon. Luzzi Abraham was fresh from jail on his wedding day.
Onyango, speaking to Spark TV, narrated that Abraham, along with another woman named Mangadelene, conspired and sold a plot of land that already belonged to someone else to the victim, Shamim Nabbanja. She allegedly paid them 600 million for the buy.
When Nabbanja decided to visit the plot of land located in Makindye, she found that other people, claiming to be the rightful owners, were already occupying the land. She made her case, and Luzze was arrested and detained at Katwe Police Station.
Both parties signed an agreement outside the law, with Luzzi committing to pay back Nabbanja her money, but he refused to refund it. After the agreed time had passed, he was rearrested.

His file was then handed over to the government prosecutor for further action. Luzzi was being charged with obtaining money under false pretences.
