Renowned TikToker Pressure 24/7, born Ibrahim Musana, has been granted bail by Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate, Ronald Kayizzi.
The court approved a cash bail of Shs2m for Pressure 24/7, who was facing charges of offensive communication for allegedly insulting President Museveni, the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Mutebi, and other prominent officials.
Despite being in custody for over two months, Pressure’s eligibility for bail was determined by the constitution.
To secure his release, he presented his two aunties as sureties, which the court accepted. This marked a significant development, as his previous sureties had not been approved.
However, the court’s decision to grant him bail came with a warning. Pressure 24/7 was cautioned against using abusive and offensive language online.
The court emphasized that any repetition of such behavior would lead to the cancellation of his bail and his return to prison.
This case has garnered attention due to the controversial nature of Pressure 24/7’s TikTok content, which allegedly insulted high-ranking officials.
