Prince Omar has started a custody battle against baby mama songstress Grace Khan with whom they share a three-year-old daughter Grannah. The ex-couple rocky past is making headlines again amidst claims of irresponsible parenting.
Initially, Prince Omar denied paternity, only to confirm it through a DNA test. Their brief reunion that followed ended in another breakup, with both parties going their separate ways.
It was not until recently that Prince Omar appeared in a TV interview sparking controversy after claiming that having a child with Grace Khan was a mistake. He claimed to be doing his part and taking responsibility as a father, something that Grace Kahn denied, stating that Pr. Bujingo and his wife Susan Makula were shouldering the child’s responsibilities.
Fast forward, Prince Omar has expressed his desire to gain custody of their daughter citing repeated denials by Grace Khan when he requests to spend time with the child.
He emphasized his commitment to fatherhood, stressing that he wants to create lasting memories with his daughter and will only be able to do so if she is in his care.
It’s been a very long time since Grace Khan and I separated. If she can’t take care of the child anymore, she should give her to me because I have never denied her. She knows where to find me. I even need to hold a Hakika for my child and take her to my parents’ compound.
She refused to give me my child. Every time I ask her to give me the child, she hides her. I have never denied responsibility as a father of that child and if she finds this whole situation complicated, she should bring my child to me. There are memories I want to create with my daughter but every time I want access to my daughter, she doesn’t allow me to do so. And when she goes to the news, she speaks something else, he said.
Netizens showed concern, stating that it was not right for Prince Omar to take a minor away from her mother’s custody but he says Grace Khan is currently going through a lot given the viral videos trending on social media of her having breakdowns on camera.

Under no circumstances have I refused Grace Khan to raise her child. But the child is not hers alone, this is our child. Currently she is traumatized and a lot of things are going on with her, she should give me my child. She knows how to get to me. I do not just want to see her; I want to be with my daughter.
