Western Uganda-based singer Ray G, real name Reegan Muhairwe, has called upon Ugandans to raise Ugx Billion Ugandan Shillings as a token of appreciation to Jose Chameleone.
Ray G made the 1 Billion For Chameleone plea over the weekend through his Twitter/X handle, revealing that the Ugandan music industry thrives today because Jose Chameleone sparked the fire, and he carries the Uganda flag on every stage and hence needs to be appreciated.
The ‘make a way’ hit singer plans to hand over the reward to Jose Chameleone upon his return to the country from the US, where he has been grappling with acute pancreatitis for months.
To actualize the 1 Billion For Chameleone cause, Ray G stressed that he needs Ugx 1000 from only 1 million fans.

The Ugandan music industry thrives today because HE sparked the fire! HE carries the Uganda flag on every stage. HE is coming home soon. Let’s give back to him with overwhelming love by raising UGX 1 billion for Jose Chameleone.
It takes UGX 1000 from only 1 million fans to raise the amount. Together we can!
