Popular radio presenter and musician, Rebecca Jjingo has shared a chilling story about how she survived an acid attack from an anonymous woman who ambushed her at her workplace.
Rebecca Jjingo hosts one of the popular radio shows where people call in with their problems which are mostly relationship-related for listeners to help them find a solution.
On this particular day, a woman who identified herself as a maid put in a distressed call, narrating to her about the secret affair she had with a married man.
They sired a child but in a turn of events, the man refused to acknowledge it, throwing her out of his home in fear of his wife finding out.
“So, the maid came to me and asked me to speak to the man, providing me his number. I used my number to send the man a WhatsApp message and replied to me little did I know that his wife was listening in to the entire conversation… I did not know that our conversations hurt her heart so badly. But it was her maid who brought all the problems,” Rebecca Jjingo said.
The wife, fueled by anger and betrayal, managed to track down Rebecca, ambushing her at her workplace. She met her face to face, she played the recordings and demanded answers. When she denied any direct involvement, the woman asked her to provide the whereabouts of the maid, to which she remained unresponsive.

“She looked at me from head to toe, pulled out her phone, and played the recordings I sent to her husband. I started crying and explained myself and when she asked me whether it was true, I told her I had also been told. I explained to myself and she opened her dress and showed a bottle of acid. I was so scared but she told me she had forgiven me. It was my friend who helped me leave that place because I was too startled to move,” Rebecca Jjingo narrated.
Having forgiven her, the woman who was dressed in attire concealing her identity jumped in her V8 car and left the scene.
