Musician Rema Namakula has hailed singer and songwriter Shena Skies, real name Josephine Namagembe Shena, for her unmatched songwriting skills.
In an interview, Rema Namakula described Shena as an exceptional talent in the music industry who has written some of the biggest hits. One of them is Rema’s collaboration with Nigerian superstar Chike titled ‘Loco’, whose popularity sold her to the West African audience.
While describing her experience working with Shena Skies, Rema Namakula recounts that she is very swift and her songs have an urban touch vibe.
“Shena Skies is very amazing. She has written most of the big songs in the industry; it’s just that artists she has written for do not speak out. She has been on so many big projects; she is very quick, very urban and amazing,” she said.
Shena Skies has gained massive popularity, especially among artists, as a top songwriter over the years. Rema Namakula believes she will one day receive the recognition she deserves due to her amazing talent.
