Singer Derrick Ddungu alias Rickman Manrick has urged folks to leave his girlfriend Sheilah Gashumba out of their political wrangles.
On Sunday wee hours, the NBS After5 presenter Sheilah Gashumba made it known that for days, she has been receiving politically affiliated threats via her socials.
The most recent development in the aftermath of the threats was four Boda riders carrying passengers wearing helmets trailing her car as she headed home from a gig on Saturday.
It required his driver to take an unplanned detour in order to avoid the trailers that had agendas best known to them.
Sheilah’s boyfriend Rickman Manrick was left with a sour taste in his mouth upon crossing paths with the development and was so quick to react via his Twitter account.
The singer revealed that his girlfriend is not a member of any political party and should not be drawn into unnecessary stress.

Rickman went on to say that despite being subjected to a barrage of insults, Sheilah continues to do what she believes is right and that engaging in a physical altercation with her over issues she is green about is inappropriate.
