New Venue, Same Great Vibe
For the first time, Roast and Rhyme will be hosted at the Hockey Grounds, Lugogo, a fresh and central location perfect for city dwellers looking to unwind. The Hockey Grounds are above the Lugogo Cricket Oval, next to MTN Arena. All revellers will access the venue through the National Council of Sports main gate on Coronation Avenue, Lugogo.
This change of venue means that while you might miss the lakeside breeze, you’ll get to experience an urban picnic vibe in the city’s heart. The spacious, open grounds are perfect for dancing, relaxing, and soaking in the electric atmosphere that only Roast and Rhyme delivers!
Roasting Made Easy
Unlike the previous editions, where revellers could bring their grills, the Hockey Grounds’ pitch structure makes it impractical for you to roast your meat. But don’t worry — Roast and Rhyme has you covered! An array of ready-to-buy roasted meats from carefully selected food vendors on site will be available. Expect juicy, mouth-watering roasts that will satisfy your cravings as you enjoy the music and vibes.
